About Manage your Medicine

We are Independent Consultant Pharmacists and we LOVE talking about drugs! We specialize in improving  your medication therapy. If you think you may be having a reaction to your medicine, contact us for a consult . We would love to review your medications and help you improve your health and quality of life.

What concerns you about medicine?

  • Cost?
  • Side effects?
  • Long Term effects?
  • Drug interactions?
  • Vitamin depletion?
  • Drug resistance?
  • Remembering to take your medicine?

Maybe you have never worried about any of these things, but we do. We are experts at finding drug related problems and recommending solutions.

We met 7 years ago…

Federal Law requires a pharmacist to review the charts and medications for every patient in every skilled nursing home – every month.  The consultant pharmacist evaluates the medications for appropriateness for each individual patient. A report is then submitted to the physician, recommending any changes that may improve the patients’ medication therapy. We love helping our patients in these settings – it gives us great satisfaction to know we helped reduce the possibility of an adverse medication effect, prevented a drug interaction, and maybe improved the quality of the resident’s life.

We also know that there are many people living in the community-at-large who have similar medication review needs, which go unmet. Many people, and perhaps you are one of them, do not have the advantage of a Personal Pharmacist to review their medicines and make individualized recommendations for their specific needs. We are offering this specialized support to you! We want to help you feel your best by doing what we do best – working with clients like you to improve your medication regimens and thus, your quality of life.

Margaret Henderson, R.Ph.

I’m Margaret Henderson, R.Ph.,C.Ph. I decided on Pharmacy as a career in the 7th grade, when I took chemistry, which I enjoyed.  Since I already had a love of the healthcare field, Pharmacy seemed a natural fit. That decision provided me with a wonderful, enjoyable career.

In my 35+ years as a pharmacist, I have worked for hospitals, retail drugstores,  respiratory compounding company, a computer software company, a long-term care pharmacy and finally as a consultant pharmacist in long term care and assisted living facilities.

I also know that there are many people living in the community-at-large who have similar medication review needs, which go unmet. Many people, and perhaps you are one of them, do not have the advantage of a Personal Pharmacist to review their medicines and make individualized recommendations for their specific needs. I am offering this specialized support to you!  I want to help you feel your best by doing what I do best – working with clients like you to improve your medication regimens and thus, your quality of life.
